LNC DATA services Carestream Dental imaging equipment with certified technicians — installation, repair, relocation and the software behind it.
Equipment we are certified on
Both of our technicians, Vasile and Derek, are certified on every system listed here:
- Kodak 8000 — panoramic
- Kodak 9000 — 3D / CBCT
- CS 8100 — panoramic and 3D
- CS 8200 — panoramic and 3D
- CS 9600 — panoramic, CBCT and cephalometric
- RVG sensors — installation, configuration and replacement
That covers units from the older Kodak generation through to current CS platforms, so a practice running a mixed fleet does not need two different vendors.
What we do
Installation and commissioning
New unit install, workstation preparation, software deployment, calibration, and verification that images acquire and store correctly before a patient is ever seated on it. RVG sensor installation includes the sensor, the interface and the imaging software configuration — not just plugging it in.
Repair and troubleshooting
Hardware faults and software faults are different problems and we treat them that way. We establish whether the cause is the unit, the sensor, the cabling, the workstation, the driver stack, the storage path or the network before recommending a part.
Typical issues we are called for:
- Sensor or unit not detected by the workstation
- Images acquiring but not appearing in the patient chart
- Slow or failing image acquisition and export
- CS Imaging errors, crashes and failed database saves
- DICOM destination and share configuration problems
- Panoramic or CBCT positioning and image quality issues
- Workstation replacement and Windows 11 migration for imaging use
Relocation
Practice moves and renovations. Careful decommissioning, transport and re-installation of panoramic, CBCT and sensor equipment, with verification that everything works in the new location — not just that it powers on.
Remote and onsite
Many Carestream software and configuration problems can be resolved remotely, and we support practices anywhere in the United States on that basis.
Anything physical — hardware faults, installs, relocations, sensor replacement, cabling and calibration — is onsite work. Our onsite coverage is the San Francisco Bay Area plus any practice within roughly a four-hour drive.
Why certification matters on imaging equipment
Dental imaging hardware sits at the intersection of a clinical device, a Windows workstation, a database and a network. Work on it by someone who treats it as generic IT is how imaging setups end up half-working — acquiring images that nobody can find later. Certified service means the work follows the manufacturer’s procedure, and the result is verified end to end.
